We examine how COVID-19\ninfluenced the 2020 US presidential elections, how politics in the form of\nideology, gender, race and partisanship influenced the pandemic and how the\nnature of emergency politics changed in the times of Coronavirus. He is member of the Global Young Academy since 2019 and of the\nScientific Council of the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center and\nthe Center for the Study of the United States at Tel Aviv University with the\nFulbright Program. Udi was Chairperson of the Israel Young Academy from\n2018-2019 and initiated the Israeli Cyber Forum at Columbia University, while\nteaching political science at Columbia from 2016-18. His scholarship has\nappeared in over 30 peer reviewed journal publications and 3 scholarly books\n(at Cambridge, SUNY and Palgrave).\n                      <\/p>\n                      <h3 class=\"u-text u-text-4\">\n                        <font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\n                          <font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><\/font>\n                        <\/font>Or Rappel-Kroyzer\n                      <\/h3>\n                      <p class=\"u-text u-text-5\">\n                        <font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\n                          <font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><\/font>\n                        <\/font> Or Rappel-Kroyzer is a PhD student of American political\nhistory at Tel Aviv University and a research fellow at the Center for the\nStudy of the United States in Tel Aviv University.&nbsp;<br>He is a 17-year veteran of\nthe high-tech industry, working in 2 successful startups and later for 7 years\nin Brightsource of which he spent 3 years as the R&amp;D manager of a\ndiversification company, ICS^2, developing solutions for cyber security and\noperations improvements for industrial facilities.&nbsp;<br>He holds a BA (with honors)\nin Math and Computer Science from Hebrew university and an MA (with honors) in\nAmerican history from Tel-Aviv university. He currently works at Mobileye.
