Mapping the Connectome Dynamics of Trauma

The PTSD Brain Connectome Project is working to establish a detailed database to study the impact of traumatic stress on brain structural and functional connectomes using MRI. We plan data collection from 1000 participants with PTSD, 1000 trauma-exposed healthy participants, and 1000 healthy non-exposed participants.

We combine the modeling of brain structure and function modeling in relation to specific symptoms and symptom clusters. This approach is expected to redetermine the transaction between neuroscience and clinical research in relation to trauma psychopathology.
